Paid out to companies for data

License your data to train the next frontier of AI and robotics

Quatrex helps established companies monetise their operational data, by licensing it to AI developers.

What you keep

A priced asset, regardless of immediate sale

Step one produces a data asset prospectus. It lists what you hold, what you can license, a valuation range and a go or no-go recommendation. You keep the prospectus for future use, even if an immediate sale is not yet viable.

Advisory

Get your data ready for AI systems

Quatrex helps established companies organise their data so AI tools can find it, read it and use it.

An AI system can only use data it can find, read and trust.

The problem

Most company data is not ready for AI tools

Assistants, copilots and agents only see the data that is connected to them and that they are permitted to read.

Spread across systems

Records sit in email, shared drives, SharePoint, ERP and CRM systems. There is no single index of what exists.

No owner and no label

Nobody knows which copy is current, who owns it or whether it holds personal data. Old and new versions sit side by side.

Out of reach for AI tools

An assistant cannot answer from records it cannot reach. Staff paste documents in by hand or work from memory.

How it works

Four steps to data your AI tools can use

Around 12 weeks for a first phase. Your data stays in your own systems throughout.

1

Map

We list every system and store that holds data, what it contains, how much there is and who owns it.

Weeks 1 to 3
2

Assess

We grade each dataset for quality, duplication, personal data and rights. You get a list of what to fix first.

Weeks 2 to 4
3

Organise

We set rules for names, owners, versions, retention and access. We then apply them to the records that matter most.

Weeks 4 to 8
4

Connect

We connect the organised data to your AI tools through secure connectors, with the same permissions as your systems.

Weeks 8 to 12

What you keep

A data map and a plan your team can run

The first phase produces a data readiness report. It shows where your data sits, what state it is in and which AI tools can use it. You keep the report and the rules, whether or not we do the later phases.

The state of your data and what to fix first

01Data map: systems, stores, volumes and owners
02Quality grades: current, duplicated or incomplete
03Personal and confidential data, and the rule for each
04Access model: which people and which tools can read what
05Connection plan: which AI tools link to which data

The result

Your AI tools answer from your own records

Staff ask a question and get an answer drawn from your documents, with the source shown. Agents complete routine tasks from the same data, under the same permissions as your staff.

How we charge

A fixed fee for each phase

Map and assess

A fixed fee, agreed before we start. It covers steps 1 and 2 and the data readiness report.

Organise and connect

A fixed fee for each later phase, quoted from the report. You decide phase by phase.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

No. Your data stays in your systems. We organise it where it is and connect your AI tools to it.

Any tool that can read data through a standard connector. This includes Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude and models your own team runs.

We find it and set a rule for it. No AI tool reads personal data without a clear legal basis and access controls that limit who can see it.

Around 12 weeks for a first phase covering one or two business areas. Large groups take longer.

Quatrex leads the work with your IT and data owners. Your staff learn the rules so they can keep the data in order after we leave.

Yes. The data map, the quality grades and the privacy rules are the first steps of a licence sale. The same work counts towards it.
